She’s free to live a normal high school life, like she should have been able to during her freshman year. She’ll be more cautious when it comes to the opposite gender, especially David Petrakis. David is boy in her grade, during her freshman year he was her biology lab partner and in her history class. Her relationship with David will grow, maybe feelings will grow. Only time will tell if they will ever be more than friends. Now when it comes down to the student body treating Andy Evans, it starts with whatever side they believe. Many could believe Andy, and try to prove that he did not rape Melinda. Others will treat him with cold stares and harsh words for the fact that he is a rapist. Girls will walk the halls in fear knowing that Andy raped one girl, who is anyone to say that he would not try or rape anyone
