Melba Pattillo was a normal girl that just waned to be friends with everyone. When she was of age Melba was given the chance to go to Little Rock Central High. As in her book Warriors Don't Cry. On her first day she was heavily bullied people calling her names and her being it and teased about. A thing that made Melba strong was her belief in god. I believe god gave Melba the right mind set to focus on being strong. As well as her grandma India helping her. As Melba faces challenges, I will talk about my own. Every day I struggle with self confidence I feel I'm to heavy to be noticed. I find strength in doing what I love witch is working out and doing school. Some of the people that inspire me are my grandma she has told me just to be myself
