Extended Writing Project - Naomi Potter Melba Beals, Feng Ru, and Jackie Robinson had all changed our country by doing something great. They all faced challenges, but still stayed strong and had courage. They paved the way for us so that we would not have to go through what they went through. Jackie Robinson had to face threats and people calling him names. Melba Beals faced people being scared for her and having to be the first black person to go to a white school. Feng Ru had to face a death from his invention. Without them, our countries would not be the same.
