We as a society have become so dependent on our phones that without it we begin to feel lost and weak as if it’s a drug. Steve Cutt does a great job of depicting the true meaning of our society through these images or as he calls them the “sad truth“. The imagine that has caught my attention was the one that looked like the zombie apocalypse has taken over, except the zombies were actually us humans and our food supply are our phones (technology). My reaction to this image consisted of agreement and worry that we might actually be in big trouble if we continue to live a life where technology is our most important need rather than being happy with what we have. Instead we are becoming a consumer – driven society what always wants more of…

I believe that these two men have a point as to why everyone will be connected. A reason being is because as the years go by more and more people have begun to purchase technology for entertainment or simply because they need it for medical reasons.…

Cyberpunk There is much controversy on the topic of whether or not technology hinders today’s generation and the influences it has on our future. Cyberpunk is a subgenre of science fiction in a future setting, prominent for its focus on "high tech and low life". Generally centered on a conflict among artificial intelligences or a mega corporation, cyberpunk does a great job of taking the technology resources we have now and heightening them but not too much to where it doesn’t seem tangible. The cyberpunk genre also sheds a light on this dependency we as humans have on our personal gadgets. We invest so much of our time and money trying to keep up with the “next big thing” and staying relevant that we become consumed by the very thing that…
