Meerkats live in semi desert and scrub land. The meerkats to eat Insects, Rodents, and Lizards. They have dark bands around their eyes and a white face. Their conversation status is the least concern. Their skin type is fur. Their biggest treat is climate change.

The meerkats life span lasts from 10 to 14 years. In size they range between 25cm to 35 cm. their lifestyle is diurnal. The meerkats weight between 600g-975g. the top speed is 32kph. The meerkats are located in south western Africa.
