In medium bowl, stir together 1 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 3 tablespoon finely chopped parsley, 6 tablespoon finely chopped chives and 1/2 tablespoon garlic paste. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add 1/3 cup buttermilk. If mixture is too thick, add more buttermilk 1 tablespoon at a time until desired thickness. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving to blend
