The Medieval knights and the Sicilian Mafia have existed for centuries. Chivalry has evolved quite a bit, considering it started roughly 1,500 years ago. If you compare chivalry from when it started, to now, chivalry is dying down. The reason why chivalry is brutally dying down is because, a great majority of American citizens have become selfish, have a lack of manners, and the influence of technology has for communication. Technology has had a big impact on why chivalry is beginning to deteriorate. This is because, social media and cellular devices make it so humanity does not have to speak to one another face to face. For example, mafia members could not look at their wives as friends. Meaning, being loyal, your friends’ girls are off limits, make that clear, close friends could be considered as brothers in many instances, and they should not go for their woman because it is not the honorable thing to do. Never be seen with cops. Their tradition means no one likes a snitch, but it does not just apply to cops, it also applies to any form of authority. Especially in the workplace. Appointments must absolutely be treated with the uttermost respect. The Sicilian Mafia had expectations. When you say you are going to do something, you do it.
