They did pleasures that are almost identical to the ones that we do today… drinking, dancing, eating, and playing games. At these fun festivities, there had been many professional entertainers at the fairs, and traveling sideshows. These people had played many games of chance and skill, which we often still do today for the satisfaction of the public admirers, and ourselves. Villages might hold sport competitions such as soccer. There are numerous times when these soccer games would get out of control, and become very violent causing these people to become banned from the village greens. Some of the most popular children's games had included bowling hoops, and stilt walking. Professional stilt walkers would take part in these festival processions, in eye-catching, fancy dresses. The elders of the village bet on horse races, wrestling matches, and cockfights which had been very cruel, but it was the most appealing in the crowds defense. One of the cruelest sports that they had participated in was bear-baiting. During this sport, specially trained dogs would attack a muzzled, and chained bear. Ordinary men and women would play dice in the taverns, and would also make bets on which numbers would be thrown,
