Introduction to medical sonography was a helpful experience. I took this class because I was told that it will give me an experience to decide if sonography was the right career for me. During lab simulation is where we beginning hand on experience as a group with the machine. Lab time helped me learn how to use a transducer. The transducer can be mentally challenging when holding and using it. The experience in lab helped me see how organs inside the body look like on a screen. Also, it helps me to identify organs located in the abdominal cavity. I expected that it would at least take two semester to mastering scanning and locating the organs, but I was wrong. I feel like medical sonography is a great fit for me because I did not expect to
