A medical scribe has the ability to gain a relationship with the physician they assist. As an assistant, a scribe is responsible for preparing/gathering patient information, taking notes, and communicating course of actions. This is helpful to the physician because they have the assurance that their patient's case is in the hands of someone who has the ability to transcribe, create plans, and work along them to fulfill any task needed. And because a scribe is able to build a relationship, the physician is able to communicate to their scribe in events of patient based discussions. This also allows the physician to have more time to find results and solutions for their patient, due to their scribe completing the essential "paperwork."
