Logically, my education must come before anything else I do. This is why I am striving to keep my 4.0 GPA and lay a strong foundation for me to get into Medical School. I have taken on my current job at CVS Pharmacy to advance my knowledge in medicine. On February 14, 2012 I enlisted into the Air Force Reserve to take on a job in medical logistics. In this job I have the opportunity to work in a clinic containing several different departments. The McNair Scholars Program would be another positive opportunity for me to gain experience. The overall acceptance rate for medical schools is 43.8%. This scholar program will allow me to be more competitive and increase my chances of getting into medical school. This would allow me to gain experience in my career field and be fascinating to learn more in depth about. There are multiple cellular types that could possibly be experimented with. Being able to have hands on experience with this type of research experiment will allow me to get a sample of what I will have to face in my future
