Medical marijuana has been proven to help with many chronic illnesses and diseases. To start, according to the Drug Policy Alliance, marijuana has shown to treat symptoms of conditions, including cancer, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, alzheimer's disease, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), epilepsy, crohn disease, and glaucoma, and is often an effective alternative to narcotic to painkillers (n.pag). All of the conditions listed above have terrible symptoms, and medical marijuana is a better alternative than narcotics because medical marijuana has less long-term conditions and is creepier than most narcotics.
