Medical Marijuana has become a popular subject today. It is legalized in 25 states, including the District of Colombia. It’s commonly utilized by many teens and adults for recreational and medical reasons such as dealing with depression. Cannabis refers to the use of cannabis and it’s cannabinoids to treat disease or improve symptoms (dictionary.com). Inside medical cannabis it has THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (Cannabidiol). THC is the active ingredient in cannabis giving its narcotic and psychoactive effects. Comparatively, the CBD has medical effects, but it doesn 't make people feel “stoned” and actually counters some of the effects of THC (dictionary.com).
