Medical Field Interview Paper

After attending a community college and transferring to University of California Riverside my goals are steadily appearing closer within grasp. However, the steps I need to take in order to get into medical school have, to this point, escaped me. Until now I was only aware I needed to take Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) along with some volunteer work to go to medical school. This paper will provide a better understanding of what it is like to work in a health related field along with supply information for the admissions process and requirements for attending a medical school in the future. With that in mind Mr. Avelino said that staying on top of new research and evidence base practices are key. Working with his organization he is able to get educated with the hospitals innovative initiatives that keep them up to date with current trends. In addition to a great health benefits, the hospital also provides a $3000 forgivable loan that can finance any education one tries to ensue. Competition can also be a factor when trying to decide on ones future occupation. Taking into consideration the amount of students attempting to enter the same field as you the question on whether or not you’ll have job security comes to mind. When asked whether or not there was job security in health fields Mr. Avelino stated that there absolutely was. He said, “People get sick and require healthcare, so the job security is intact. A physician is always on call for their patients. Pediatricians like other physicians also work closely with nurses and other health care workers so it is good to hone the ability to be a leader while also being a team player. The annual salary for this position may vary between $140,000-$202,547 depending on the practice or hospital one is working in (Careers in Medicine: Specialty Information). Aside from a good salary another benefit from working in this type of profession would be receiving the satisfaction of helping another human being.
