Mr. X was referred to the clinic by his primary care physician. The presenting complaints are that he is unhappy with his wife, job, and prospects for the future. He has felt inferior and intimidated by girls he thought were “special” in grad school. He also reported feelings of sadness, inferiority, and pessimism.
