Stephanie is a 26yo, G5 P0222, who is presently 29 weeks 6 days. She was admitted for vaginal bleeding and was initially around 1 cm. She was placed on 4East after the bleeding had stopped and was being watched expectantly. She started contracting and her cervix had changed to 3-4 cm and she was brought back to Labor and Delivery yesterday. She received betamethasone and we are currently waiting on her 2nd dose of betamethasone. She continues to complain of contractions today. She did receive an epidural which we have turned off as her cervix is unchanged and there were minimal contractions on the monitor.
