The moment we took our first breath of air, there has always an array of doctors present for us-to watch out growth, development, and assure that we are flourishing with a healthy lifestyle. There’s a certain type of doctor that is completely dedicated to the health and well-being of the youth, which consists of infants, children, adolescents, they’re called pediatricians. In first-world countries, the youth does not have to ponder whether they can afford medical care due to the many laws applied to prioritize a child’s health; however, in third-world countries, it’s a whole different story. Through a normal day in a pediatrician’s life, they are likely to; administer physical exams, perform child vaccinations, diagnose any sort of healthy problem(s), and record the patient’s growth and development (Verywell). In their offices, they typically work alone unless required to consult their findings to the nurse practitioners they work with or they are given student nurse (Verywell). In patient rooms, it equals complete privacy between the doctor and their patient, this could also include the patient’s parent or guardian if they chose to accompany the child (AAP.org). Due to certain circumstances, the doctor may require patience from their patient especially if they are uncomfortable to reveal what their problem is if it seems to be too personal to them. Your own appearance and physical health should also be taken in consideration before accepting the job. There is not sort of strenuous task in a normal day as a pediatrician and one does not have to have 20/20 vision in order to carry out any tasks given. One does not have to be completely robust as a doctor, but it is suggested that they are as they may set an example on their patients. When it comes to school after high school, future doctors must complete a 4-year university and have graduated medical school, unless the two are already combined (Study.com).
