While I believe that I am skilled in academics, there is a talent that I have that can be applied to school and the real world. I have always been excellent at resolving arguments amongst my friends and coming up with compromises with my siblings, which stems from my ability of problem solving. When I was in eighth grade I was a peer mediator and helped to resolve arguments among other middle schoolers. I would sit with them and talk about how to settle the conflict. Some of the issues may seem silly, they both liked the same boy, or they had not been invited to a birthday party, nonetheless, these were real issues for these people and I was a part of helping them come to a solution.
