The mediated universe in which we live often times is more overwhelming than not. Mediated society has influenced the way that I put personal information on the internet. I personally have access to social media but have chosen to distance myself from Facebook and Twitter. In my opinion, the world of social media has gotten out of control. We live in a world that exploits women in the media, on television shows, and in movies. There are negative and positive concepts that you can gain form media. My identity as a woman has been a matter of playing the role that was created by mediated society in that I respect my body and my mind.
