Social media marketing is marketing in online medium that are easy, quick, and cheap. The perception of social media marketing, it comes from those overnight sensations that go viral within minutes of hitting a social media network like YouTube, Facebook, Myspace, and the others. A person sees reports in the media about how “fast” something went popular on a social media site and assume that because it was fast, it was easy and therefore it is cheap to implement (Evans, 2010).
