Media Bias In America

There is people who watch the news, complain about society and do nothing to change it. Then there is people who are willing to change it but let’s be honest, the majority of people just stay home and complain at their fancy television screens. But now to the people who actually go out and try to change it. Are they trying to change it because they know both sides of the story or do they just know the side that the media gave them? It is a fifty to fifty chance, they could either be doing the right thing or the wrong thing. This is when media bias comes in. Media bias is not just a problem in America but worldwide. Not only does it occur in one topic but in many others such as, gun laws, abortion, political issues, and sports issues as well. It happens when the reporter does not know both sides of it or when they are trying to prove a point by twisting words around but it can also happen because of the journalists experience in writing. A more skilled reporter is able to notice more easily than an everyday person the bias in a report. They have the acquired skills of gathering information from both sides of the story unlike some people that tend to criticize while not being educated enough about both ends. Media bias is a huge part in the decisions made in America. The American people are very easy to convince when it comes to topics talked about a lot on CNN and other news media outlets.
