Meat Shrink Wrapped Doesn 'T Mean You' Re Not Killer

I am writing to express my view on your article about young carnivores. I disagree with few of your points. For instance, when you stated that everyone who eats meats are partially responsible for the death of animals, “just because you buy your meat shrink wrapped, doesn’t mean you’re not killer”. I think it’s very harsh to say that all meat eaters are killers, even though we didn’t directly kill the animal for it. You made strong point and I understand it but I don’t see how eating meat that I bought from the shop makes me a killer. We need meat to live. Moreover, meat is an essential part of our diet. Although there substitutes supplements such as iron and vitamins to replace eating meat but these supplements won’t be as good as meat and can cause side effects like weakness in our body. Many people can’t afford buying these supplements as they’re quite expensive so I think we should eat meat to stay healthy.

Furthermore you mentioned that killing animals for meat involves great deal of cruelty.” Blasted out of sky” I strongly agree with your point, no animal deserved to be killed in such cruel way. Also I think we should look for other methods such as putting them to sleep so that they won’t have to suffer. I strongly disagree with this point, because children aren’t mature enough to distinguish whether eating meat is wrong or right. Furthermore I think no parent would allow their kids to witness the death of animal as it can cause great damage mentally. Imagine being 6years old child and you saw birds being shot right in front of you or animals that have been slaughter right in front you.
