Means To Me

Seventeen years of life and the best quote that describes me is extremely boring and weird, however it means so much to me. The quote is "peace; love". This quote is probably the two most powerful words that can be said in my life at this time. The reason for the average and simple quote is because of my two best friends Andrew and Jaedon. We have a friendship that has lasted throughout middle and high school, building bonds that can't be broken. I began thinking about life after high school in tenth grade, and where the three of us would be at that time. I also started thinking about our friendship and the great times we all had together. Eventually I told them about what I was thinking and asked how they felt about the quote "Peace; Love". …show more content…
I love being with family and friends but always meeting new people and helping others out in times of need. It's difficult to be friendly and caring to everyone, but I will always be there for someone if they ever need it. Love to me represents not only having a strong attraction to someone however it means you care for someone. When I use "Peace; Love" it can mean many different times. This is the quote that has had the biggest impact on my life so far and I believe that it will continue to have the same affect throughout my life. When you go through high school with your two best friends you have the ability to relax more and enjoy your time, because you are not worried about finding your place and fitting in. My friends were like a support that would hold me up when there was a low point in life, and continue to be there in the highest points. An example of how influential this quote is on my life is when I was at the state golf tournament in College Park. I was playing pretty bad and was just getting upset and didn't have my hand in the game. While I was waiting to tee off I see my two best friends walking down the fairway to come watch me, they talked to my dad and asked how I was

This quote inspires me to endure any hardships I experience for two reasons: it reminds me that there could be more difficult events I could face, and that my reward for enduring it will be a meaningful life experience. Because everyone experiences hardships in life, I can look at this quote and be reassured that I am not the only one with a certain problem, but I am also convinced that many people live through more severe events and therefore I can definitely withstand whatever life may give me. When I look at this quote, I recall all my past troubles and, more importantly, what I learned from those. The quote is similar in message to the “hang in there!”…
