‘‘Tuesdays with Morrie’’ is a novel written by the author Mitch Albom. It talks about and old man and a young man who are friends and life’s greatest lesson. The novel content displays fourteen Tuesdays that Mitch the writer had with Morrie. In the first Tuesday, they both take about the world and its importance for people. In the second Tuesday, they discuss the feeling of sorry for yourself. In the fourth Tuesday, they talked about death and the desire of being alive. The fifth Tuesday illustrated there talk about family and why is it important. In the sixth Tuesday, they had a talk about emotions and how people feels specially when they are dying. He suffers from the ALS disease which is taking his life and health. This disease ravages Morrie’s body in a very cruel and harsh way leaving him unable to do certain jobs by himself after it hits the part that is responsible for that. Morrie understood the meaning of life from this disease and started to teach it to Mitch his dear student who became, after ignoring Morrie since finishing the university, the most person helping him as much as he could. He taught him how to appreciate being alive and healthy and how to face death. Morrie is a man who represents an ultimate wisdom. He is the type of person that shares his feelings, listens to others problems and complains with a smile that never left his face. Before he had the disease, he loved dancing and music. He used to dance with himself in a dancing club enjoying the music and people in that club would tell that this is not a professor. Morrie rejects the idea of having your own culture and that your culture makes you difference than other people. He believes that all people are the same even if they are different in their status or job. It is written in a simple manner of a story, where the author narrates his days with his wise teacher Morrie when he was in the university. He discovers after his graduation by a year that his professor had got a killing disease, and then goes to his house as a visit every Tuesday to chat with him until his death. This book is not talking about emotions and sad or negative thoughts about life, however it illustrates the quotes of a Wiseman who was used to inspire and help other people before and after his terminal illness and lived a great life not letting this illness lost
