I feel like the writer wanted to show us that without some type in inequality, then none of us would be individuals. That the government would have total control of anything and everything that we wanted to do. Our lives would be controlled and our lives greatest desires could never be fulfilled because of their mental and physical restraints. In a world where technological and scientific advances are realized daily, communication with people around the world is a common occurrence, and knowledge is becoming increasingly accessible, a wider window has opened for the individual to explore, discover, and/or create their ideal self.
