The novel Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews is a fabulously relatable novel that I earnestly enjoyed reading. This book is entertaining, humorous, and has a unique plot. I rate this book 4.5/5 stars. Although most of the book was extremely engrossing, there were some parts in the novel that were very slow-paced and boring. For example, there are many sections of the novel that focus on backflashes to previous events in Greg’s life. I did enjoy this for the most part, but it lasted for long periods of time and started to become tedious. I loved the fact that Greg had to reach out to Rachel and reconnect with her. While at first it was only because of her leukemia, it became a real friendship, and this sweetness of the novel helped
