“Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plain…” I was born and raised in the Sooner State and this is where I plan to stay. I can’t think of a better place to learn and grow into an aspiring woman with a career serving other Oklahomans. By looking at my life, academic achievements, and plans for the future one can see that I am a true Oklahoma girl with potential to achieve great accomplishments. Working hard is innately embedded within me. I’ve always helped out on our family farm by aiding my mother in fence building or showing my dad an easier way to catch one of our eight horses. At the age of sixteen I sought employment at a local gas station, Mcpherson’s Mac’s Corner Deli, on the south end of my home town, Minco. The most rewarding aspect of this service job is meeting the townspeople and moving from acquaintances to friends. In a small town, southern hospitality spreads like a fever in winter, so it’s natural to welcome the …show more content…
Ultimately, I plan to join the Oklahoma Forensic Investigators team to solve crimes committed against our kind-hearted southern people. This will be my way of giving back to the great state that has been so generous to …show more content…
My Oklahoma roots run deeper than our red clay is buried. This is home to me now and will be for my lifetime. Serving our people by bringing evidence to ensure justice is served to those who have acted unlawfully will bring joy and satisfaction to my heart in a manner that no other occupation could. I’m thankful for the life I’ve been given to embrace every moment as a gift. I, along with my fellow Oklahomans, will continue to show Oklahoma pride by singing our State Song loud and proud. “…The land we belong to is grand so when we say Yeeow! A-yip-i-o-ee ay! we’re only saying you’re doing fine

Consequently, Braaksma starts off in a whine about the hours and the pay for his summer experience, then becomes remorseful, and thankful towards the conclusion of the end of his article.…
