In the 1990s and 2000s, McDonald’s made successful efforts to restore its corporate image. It launched its “Fast and Convenient” campaign that involved the radical adjustment of the company’s product portfolio to emerging food industry trends. It started to focus on what consumers wanted and needed from their company. When people new restaurants, the started to remodel most of the McDonald’s that were the oldest. Since Social Responsibility started trending in the early 2000s, McDonald’s saw this and got ahead of the curve. They published their first Social Responsibility report ever a few months after this. Ever since the country gained its independence in 1910 the pride has existed inside its people. Many Mexicans, which before the revolution did not have a appreaciation for their own culture, started to appreciate it more and more. While many of Mexicans today have loss a sense of nationality, they are still proud to be of Mexican decent and part of the culture that comes with it. Weather it is their Catholic beliefs, breath taking landmarks, to its national festivities and holidays, or their delicious food, Mexicans have an abundance of culture that they can identify with and be proud of. Mexico has always had a rich culture, and it will continue to be for the forseable future. Mexicans love Mexico and themselves that they have holidays that celebrate them and the country. Mexico’s “Dia de la Independencia” is to celebrate Mexico’s independence from Spain. Days like “Dia de Los Muertos”, “Dia del Padre”, “Dia del niño”, and “ Dia de Las Madres” are holidays celebrating the people of the country. Mexico’s food is recognized around the world as one of the best out there and that is something Mexicans like my mom’s family take pride on. From Tacos to Caldo de Res, Mexico’s culture is shown and delivered in its food to people all over the world. Mexico’s traditional way of living was small villages and farming towns scattered with a plaza at the center of each town. People would meet up there to have parties and exchange the products they produced. Nowadays, people are shifting to the cities because of the lack of infrastructure in the rural areas. Cities have been growing in Mexico for the decades because of this shift. The culture in this cities still resemble Mexico, but they are assimilating to cities from the United States and Europe.
