About this guide: This end user guide is written and designed specifically for new end users at the college. This will provide easy, step by step details for logging onto SysAid and performing self-service reporting to the help desk.
Welcome to the College help desk where we are responsible for managing technical support issues, service requests and incidents submitted by the end user community. As a new end user, you’ll be responsible for learning a powerful new self-service tool called SysAid. This program is used by end users for requesting technical support, training assistance, and reporting incidents related to hardware and software, affecting your daily routine. Sysaid administrators control the help desk portal, manage hardware assets (such as pc’s, monitors, scanners and printers). Using SysAid, you’ll be able to easily find all of the help you need, either through the professional assistance provided by the technical staff or by your use of the self-service tools and knowledge base contained in the online portal.

Administrators have enabled an end-user interface, with several options to choose from. The opening screen in SysAid’s end-user portal interface contains a self-service option and the ability for you to view your all of your service requests and individual searches.
