My results from the MBTI concluded that I am an ISFJ. I am an introvert, sensing, feeling, and judging. The results of this did not as a surprise to me (especially being an introvert). From this test it says that I am dependable and considerate of others. I focus on the group of people rather than myself. I am firm in my beliefs and opinions, but my decisions on these beliefs and opinions are well thought out before coming to any sort of conclusion. The results claimed I am quiet in my actions, and I feel as though this is extremely accurate.

These results did not come to any surprise to me. I feel like they are extremely accurate. I am very quiet in my actions. I never feel as though I need to boast, because when I do something I do it because I want to. I do not do it for the attention. My entire time growing up I had a laundry list of bowling accolades, and the only thing I was focused on was competing because I enjoyed it. Everything else was icing on top of the cake for me. I also am very opinionated, and I am firm in my beliefs. I educate myself, and I try to keep my “judging” sense under control. After I took this test I had my boyfriend read the results so I could get honest feedback from him. Within the first paragraph he chuckled.

Picking the choice that you gravitate to more will help you understand who you are, and it should make some parts of your personality clear. I also feel like this is a useful tool in helping with the blind spots in us. The quote Irwin uses in chapter four resonated with this. The old truism, “We judge ourselves by our intentions, while other judge us by our behavior (Irwin, 42).” I think the MBTI test can help a team understand each other’s personalities. A good leader knows that not everyone thinks the same, and that it is important to have a general understanding of each other in order for success to

I am a tolerant person at heart and this was proved on several occasions during class discussions and extracurricular activities. I am more than ready to listen to the views of others, even when I do not agree with them at all. This is because I understand that nobody always has the right answers, including myself. I am therefore receptive to other opinions because it allows me to view the situation from different perspectives and this eventually leads to effective solutions being found. My MBTI type is ENTJ (Extrovert, intuitive, thinking, judging), with a marginal preference for extrovert over introvert which I feel accurately represents my personality. I have worked as a waitress since 2012 and enjoy holding this position for a number of reasons. Firstly, it quenches my extrovert desire for social interaction with a range of customers. Secondly, extroverts communicate with obvious enthusiasm, which makes me successful at ensuring customer satisfaction. I approach all tasks with enthusiasm and high expectations of myself, and if my expectations are not met, I am hard on myself.…

Because MBTI obtains results depending on test for people’s thought and behavior, which are influenced by people’s personalities, it is trustworthy. What’s more, my result of MBTI is that I am an outgoing and active person and like to share ideas with others, and that description considerably accords with my own personality. On the other hand, although sometimes what Libra shows is similar to my personality, since it has less valid evidence to prove and sometimes I do not behave like its result, this theory is less credible than the MBTI. Consequently, some people such as employers would like to choose the MBTI to know employees’ personalities so that they manage their companies easily and…

It wasn’t uncommon to see a personality test result on a computer screen with all of my friends and I gathered around the screen reading each other’s results. Since about my sophomore year of high school, we had taken all sorts of personality test from various web sites. It was around this time that we discovered the Myer- Briggs personality test, the closest modern personality test that can categorize the human personality (“Our Theory”). Back then, I got INTJ when I took the test and this most recent time I continue to be classified as an INTJ. Previously I only used the test to find out what character of my favorite TV show was also an INTJ, never before had I really researched what being an INTJ meant.…
