I regularly communicated the status on each assignment and explained any open items that were causing delays. I also kept a running open items list that included request to the client, to ensure that no task or item went over looked or slipped through the cracks. I have made a habit of recording my time at the end of each day to ensure that I am recording it accurately and to ensure that I get my time card submitted on time each week. I also check my arms every week to check that it accurately represents what I will be doing the next week, updating for any vacation as soon as I know that I am taking it. I work with GDS on a number of tasks and am always trying to incorporate them into more tasks to help with engagement economics. In order to work more efficiently, I have learned some “best practices” in excel and canvas.

So far I have attended the FSO top golf event and the golf tournament. During the winter 2017, I acted as the key contact for the SunTrust Corporate and ACB interns. This included sending them welcome to the team emails that had day 1 instructions and introductions. I also acted as an mentor/adviser to many of the interns by answering questions, helping them get setup on tasks, and keeping the informed of team expectations (such as working weekends/ overtime). I help out in recruiting by taking potential recruits to lunch and by becoming a “Bama Buddy” which includes being a mentor of sorts to a student that is attending our ELP.
