The 2015 Mazda6 and the 2015 Honda accord are two mid-sized vehicles that have been updated with various features. Deciding on the best option when considering a new vehicle can be difficult when the two vehicles have similar options. Review a comparison of these two vehicles to get a good idea of the benefits that both vehicles offer.

Comfort

The Mazda6 offers passengers in the rear about the same available space as the Honda Accord. People who are riding in the back will be able to easily stretch out and be comfortable during any traveling or commute to work. There is essentially the same legroom and headroom in both vehicles. However, the inline-4 engine in the Mazda6 has better highway mpg than the Honda Accord at about 37 miles per gallon. City mpg is 25 miles compared to 21 miles for the Honda Accord with the compared with the same engine.

Cost

There are many factors to take into account when determining the total cost of an automobile. The one consideration which is the most important is the MSRP or Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. This means the Mazda6 will not be the same drain on the bank account as the Honda Accord. When looking at loaded vehicles the Mazda6 will cost about $29,895 compared to the Honda Accord at $33,630. The monthly payment estimate based on a base vehicle is about $353 for the Mazda6 compared to the $366 for the Honda Accord.

Dimensions

The Mazda6 has nearly the exact same width measurement as the Honda Accord. Another aspect about the dimensions of both vehicles is they have essentially the same length. This means they both will use the same amount of space when in your garage. However, the Mazda6 has a longer wheelbase than the Honda Accord at 111.4 inches compared to 109.3
