With the mayoral election coming up, it is important to understand the important qualities that make a good leader. The big question that a lot of people can not answer is: What is leadership? Leadership is “a process of social influence which maximizes the efforts of others toward the achievement of a greater good”(Bradberry, Travis). The fundamental qualities that make a mayor a good leader are passion, determination, and perseverance. There are a myriad of leadership skills that a mayor should have, one including passion.
