Mayim Bialik: The Big Bang Theory

It rarely happens but when it does, it just becomes more than a coincidence. Mayim Bialik, you know her as Amy Farrah Fowler but in real life, she has a Ph.D. in neuroscience.

Before she joined the cast of The Big Bang Theory, she thought the show was a game show. She plays as a neurobiologist on the sitcom but her Ph.D. from UCLA is legit. According to Brit, this secretly smart actress took a degree in neuroscience and Hebrew and Jewish studies from UCLA in 2000. In 2007, she was able to finish her Ph.D.

Born in 1975, Bialik attended highschool at Walter Reed Junior High (now called Walter Reed Middle School). She graduated from North Hollywood High School in California in 1993. To get her higher education, she attended the University of California, Los Angeles. It is interesting to note though that she had been accepted at both Yale and Harvard.
