Organizational Analysis of Mayhill Hospital Analyzing an organization is very important because as with any business it allows for a complete review of the ins and outs of the organization. This in-depth review allows management to identify and address problems and inefficiencies that have been found or that may arise (Organizational analysis, n.d.). I will be completing an organizational analysis of my place of employment to include my organizations mission, philosophy, and administrative structure. I will be introducing and examining my organization, addressing its strengths and limitations and discussing its care delivery system. Finally, I will talk about two specific patient outcomes and explain how they were measured and monitored.
Introduction of the Organization
Mayhill Hospital is a 59-bed private psychiatric hospital located in Denton, Texas that specializes in mental health and chemical dependency care of adults and geriatrics. It is located just north of Dallas and Fort Worth and is one of the few organizations in the area that can treat patients with both psychiatric and medical conditions.
