When it comes to buying make up, I can be really picky because girls like me who also wear make up want the best quality product out there. I usually buy drug store make up because they’re cheaper and one day, when I was about to get ready for a party, I realized that I ran out of mascara. I took a quick trip to the store to buy mascara and I have noticed that they had a sale on mascaras. I was in a rush to pick out a mascara because they were out of stock with one of my favorite mascaras, so I decided to try something different and get the mascara that I have never heard reviews from before, but I bought it because it …show more content…
Maybelline is a family owned business brand. They use their own name brand and displaying it on their advertisement on the bottom of the ad. Also adding their slogan which is “ Maybe she’s born with it, Maybe its Maybelline.” They also incorporated the full product of how the packaging looks like. As you can see the advertisement, notice the tiger and how it ties in with the whole theme of the new cat eye mascara. The tiger print on the packaging just compliments the image of the tiger very well. As for Cover Girl, they also use their own name brand and having it in big lettering right on top of the advertisement. What I find unique is how it’s called new Full Lash Bloom mascara and that the pollen part of the beautiful pink flower is incorporated with the O in Cover Girl. It also has its slogan saying “Easy, Breezy, Beautiful.” The only down side to this ad is the only thing that is not showing is the whole packaging of the product. It only shows part of it and how the brush looks like. How would people know how the packaging looks like and what to look for in stores when they don’t really have an idea on how the packaging actually looks like. It is good to know the name of the mascara, but it’s also

Although it does what it says I would not purchase this only because I lean more towards volume than length when using mascara because my lashes are already really long, so volume is what I reach for first. Although, if I was looking for length in a mascara this one would be a 5 out of 5 for me!…
