My project is on the Mayan pyramid. How did the Mayans make this pyramid? Mayans made this pyramid by using large stones and more tar. They also built over the dead priest. What was the pyramid used for? It was used for getting closer to the gods. They also used it for sacrificing people for the god. What importance did it serve? Help to get to the gods. It was a landmark to get back home. That is why the Mayans pyramids are helpful to the Mayans.
