This is the Maya Relief of Royal Blood-Letting is flat panel of limestone made around the eighth century from Mexico. This limestone is approximately the size of a coffee table. This stone shows a man is standing while holding onto a blazing torch while there is a woman kneeling as this represents King Shield Jaguar and his wife. The man and woman are wearing an ornamental covering on their heads. This ornamental covering is made of jade and shell mosaic. This limestone was the collapse of the Mayan civilization around the year of nine hundred AD. From the top left to the center a bit and left down is Mayan hieroglyphics.
