Mayan Culture Vs Ancient Greek Culture

Since the location of Greece at the crossing point of the west and east, Greek culture and traditions ae very rich and diverse. The Greek culture began to develop thousands years ago and it includes the Paleolithic era and the birth of the great Minoan, Mycenaean and Cycladic civilizations through the Classical Period and the Golden Age. Due to the Greek life was dominated by religion, the temples of ancient Greece were the biggest and most beautiful. Also, they have the purpose to built is that to celebrate civic power and pride. Like the Greek Hellenistic art prefer to express the particular emotion, more about achieving excitement, wild movement and strong feeling. The Greek civilization in motivated and ambitious. They built a strong colonial district and enhance their power. Also, look at the whole Greek history, every page has the trace of aggression. The book called The Maya describes that Mayan left their civilization during the most prosperous time of Mayan culture. All the architecture seems old but there is not trace of aggression or natural disaster. Thus, the reason for Maya leave the city civilization has no relation with war or natural. The Temple of the Great Jaguar doesn’t show any strong emotions like the Altar of Zeus. They built their won civilization and religion. However, the Mayans perceived the crisis lurking under the prosperity surface. They felt that nature gives life to Mayan culture, they can not alive without nature. So, they gave up everything they own and back to nature in the most authentic state.
