The Maya, Inca, and Aztec are all very well known tribes. Not only are these tribes popular, but they have accomplished many things. Many people know that these tribes all lived in different time periods, capitals and locations. What many people don’t know is that many things are similar about them. They were located in the Great Valley. It has harsh deserts, high mountains, and swampy lakes. The climate can be 80 degrees in the summer, but very cold in the winter. The Inca lived in South America. They created cities in high mountains, with amazing views, with one of the best stone work in history. The Mayan pre classic time period was 1000 B.C- 250 A.D, there classic time period was 300 A.D-1527 A.D, the Aztec time period was 1428- 1521,and the Inca time period was 1438 AD-1532. Lastly, the Mayan capital is Tikal, but each city-state had their own capital. Tenochtitlan is the Aztec’s capital, and the Inca capital is Cuzco. These tribes have many differences.
