One of the most scarring and frightening parts of my life was May twenty-somethingth. 2014. I say twenty-somethingth to illustrate the point that the day was truly scarring. Life changing. Something was different after the experience. The difference? Even I don’t know. I remember the day as being strikingly beautiful. A slight breeze—the direction not noted—felt amazing, as the season of spring had near finished its reign and summer took its place. The valley in which I lived was beautiful; the fields of Rigby, Idaho were green and stunning. The beauty of the farmland and pleasure of the weather only helped to lift my mood more, as my eighth grade year of schooling would come to a close the next afternoon. Yes, life was good!
