Maurice Wilkins worked near Watson and Crick he was not the most driven to win and he was not doing it for the fame or money. He was doing it for science and the understanding of genes. He got the information from Rosalind and that is what Watson used to finally discover the double helix. Once it was discovered he did not care if he was credited for it, but he won the Nobel prize along with James Watson. Francis Crick, who worked alongside James Watson, was really smart to put the pieces together that he got from Rosalind Franklin. He helped put together the models to show how the helix actually works. In the movie when they showed Waston with Crick they showed more of Watson than Crick which makes me think that Crick was more of the brains
