Maurice Leblanc was a well-known French author, journalist, and playwright. He was born in Rouen, France on the eleventh of November, 1864. Maurice was born into a wealthy family. When Maurice was four years of age, he was saved from a burning house. Maurice enjoyed writing whenever he had the chance to. He would read books from the authors; Edgar Allen Poe and Honore Balzac. Furthermore, he enjoyed biking, and playing chess. Maurice’s privileged early years was a strong start to his future career.
Maurice had a variety of jobs and educational experiences. He went to school at Lycee Pierre Corneille in Rouen and studied in Germany and Italy. In addition, he attended law school; however, he did not become a lawyer. After law school, he worked
