Yes, Maude, at the age of 80, she is a character who spirit is free as the wind, lives in her own world, and demonstrated that is never to late to live your life. One of the aspects that most intrigued me about her, is that in spite her age, she doesn't seem to care of what everyone think, she lives and enjoy her life to the fullest. Maude was the peace of the puzzle in Harold's life. Maude plays an important roll in the movie because she doesn't judge Harold for any of his actions, she is by his side giving him advice and treating him in a way that he learns how to enjoy the small things in life. She transformed him in a way that not even his mother couldn’t understand and at the same time, Harold manage to lose his obsession over death and embraces life. Only through Maude, Harold was able to leave his demons aside a celebrate a life without fears.
