My dad did not exhibit the characteristics of a mature individual while driving my family and me to the mall. We were on the highway, approaching our destination, when suddenly a car veered into our lane. The driver almost hit us. In a normal circumstance, my dad would have let him go on his way and never interact with him again. This is not what he did. My father decided to take the immature route and exhibit road rage. My father decided it was better to pull up right next to the other driver and start yelling while going over 70 miles per hour. He was immature and he endangered the lives of the other driver, others on the highway, and the passengers in his car. We missed the exit because my father was so occupied with the other driver. My dad did not make the responsible decision. Another aspect of maturity is being compassionate and caring for others. All over the world there are bullies. Bullies can range from a high schooler to a dictator. When I lived in Ohio, my friend was constantly bullied. He was never punched or beaten, but he was always put down by the words of others. There were only a select few that would do this to him. One day I saw this group of friends just making fun of him at lunch while he was eating. I could no longer take the mean things they were saying to him.
