Everybody is faced with difficult decisions in their life, and everybody will respond differently to these challenges. Different emotions and characteristics can lead to different choices, but sometimes they are better to tune out, because they can lead to poor decision making. For example, Romeo is quick to forget about Rosaline, only to take up another love, Juliet, in a rash, impulsive decision. Romeo and Juliet are both immature, as shown by their interpretation of their love. They believe that their first love is who they are meant to be with, and the fall in love far too quickly, in Act 1 Scene 4. This scene shows immaturity because both of them believe they are deeply in love, when they only had one moment together. Romeo is especially immature, in that he forgets Rosaline so quickly, and moves on without realising his mistake of falling in love to quickly. This immaturity leads to the proclaiming of their love for one another on the balcony, and eventually their hasty marriage, in Act 2 Scene 2 and Act 2 Scene 6. In these scenes, they are both shown to be hasty, having only met for a moment they express their love for one another, and exchange vows of love. They then rush into a marriage the very next day. Finally, Romeo and Juliet are also shown to both be impulsive in Act 5 Scene 3, when they act on their sadness and kill themselves. This shows their impulsiveness, because they do not think of alternatives once they have made their decision. They are also hasty, in that they are quick to act on their emotions, grief and sadness, and do not think of the pain it may cause for others. Romeo and Juliet are immature and impulsive, which leads to hasty decisions, and eventually their deaths.
