Math Homework Analysis

I see all forms of work as a self portrait, wether this the process we use while we write or how we find the solution to our math homework. My belief is that as we are constantly learning we are evolving at the same rate. The process that I use now to solve my math homework is a reflection of the way I solved problems in kindergarten. The difference is now I have more tools in my frame of reference helping me along with more knowledge of the subject. I can recognize someone by their art work as easily as you can recognize a write by their work. Each person work in unique to themselves in simple forms.

This is similar to the process we used with Legos depicting our writing styles. Each person has variation in their process but are individually

Joseph Cornell made shadowbox art that reflected pieces of his life. After reading the play, it may make one wonder if man isn't truly art itself. While it is not said in the play, this idea is not only found in religious texts, but also in Shakespeare's Hamlet when it says, “What a piece of work is…

Health and nutrition have been an essential part of life since the beginning of time, but more recently these topics are shared and examined more frequently than ever, especially in America. In Michael Pollan’s article “Our National Eating Disorder,” Claudia Kalb’s “Food News Blues,” and Karin Kratina’s “The Right Thing to Do?” it is made apparent that how we eat may be just as important as what we eat. These three authors make very valid points about American’s obsession with health fads and negative thinking towards many food groups.…

Write of what parts of the text were the most difficult to read, and to identify how many times a passage was read before some understanding was achieved. This has been actually one of my best weeks so far, week 6. The topics were linear equations and non linear equations and I was able to remember about them so this time my brain was not that disconnected as normally is with algebra which made me happy. Do not get me wrong, I still had to read multiple times some sections that caused a little confusion, but again it was not that bad and at the end everything came back to me, this time it was a lot easy for me to figure out some of the book samples, except of course the ones that had multiple fractions I am still under pressure with those.…

The upcoming topic that we were going to discuss in class was transgender women and men, so my professor encouraged my class to attend the event. *…

Whether it is poetry, drawing, or painting, I discovered the importance of self-expression. Being driven away from art, due to focusing on my studies at school, I felt deprived of my artistic side and was eager to create anything I could. I had so much to say and so many ideas to share, and finally I was able to be inspired and work with the beauty around me. This is when my love and appreciation for art took over. I would sit on the dock and pour my thoughts into my green leather notebook.…

Art is all around us, no matter where we go or what we do, there will always be a form of art that is nearby, and as a result of this, art has become one of the most significant aspects of a person’s daily life. In a sense, art is quite like water. It is something that is physical, but the changes that it can embody or bring forth are just like the formlessness of water. Art has become something more than just a work that should be admired, but rather, it has become a medium of speech for the ones that create it. In Dorothy Allison’s “This is Our World”, multiple anecdotes are used to allow the reader to better understand art.…

The quality that is most important to me, is one that was defined by the hardest professor that I have had so far. During this past summer, I took Calculus 1 in a summer semester course at my local community college. It was indeed rigorous and really pushed me to my limits, however I held my own and stood strong. While in the class, my peer asked me a question regarding a topic she did not understand, and I responded with a correct explanation regarding the topic. When I responded it was seemingly covered in a layer of doubt, which is what most people see, except my professor.…

To me this quote means that getting good grades is only HALF of your education. Having a good character is the other half. For example, one day after my soccer team had just lost everyone was mad. They wouldn’t say “good game” when they high fived the other team, except me because I had learned a lesson. I learned that even though it hurts to lose you still need to be a good sport.…

    High School Post Analysis

I have been wanting to write a advice post for high school freshmen for about a year now, so much that I wanted to start a blog focused on high school advice. Right now, I am well into my sophomore year of high school, and unfortunately, this isn't a common time to post an article like this, because most, if not all students, have gone back to school. But I couldn't not post this, because I think a lot about giving well-written, helpful advice that isn't cliche. (And by "a lot", I mean A LOT, as in almost every single day.) My next post will explain the weird timing, and also, there is no way I would want to post this during the upcoming summer, or as a junior, because I won't relate to it as well, and I'll definitely be more into the college stuff.…
