Over the years, I have had a variety of career interests. At age five, I was determined to become a princess. At age 12, a choir director seemed like the best profession for me. When I was fifteen, I wanted to become a nurse. Finally, as a senior in high school, I figured out what type of career I actually want to pursue for the rest of my life. After much consideration, many pros and cons lists, and some input from my family, I finally made the decision to pursue mathematics education. I know that this career will be a great fit for me because of my passion for math.
