I spent my formative years as a recipient of state funded health care. At a young age, I did not comprehend how important it was and how lucky I was to have it. As time went on, I realized that exemplary leadership in healthcare is crucial. Patients need to feel secure knowing the decision makers have their best interest in mind. Therefore, my intention is to obtain a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management to further my goal of helping those receiving assistance.
My professional experience in the healthcare space originated at the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, which supports individuals struggling to find gainful employment. After that, I began my current career at Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan; a managed care organization
