Master Sergeant Doris Willis was my drill instructor and ROTC teacher my senior year of high school. She was a about my skin complexion and my height. My first impression of her when I met her was I didn't really like her. I felt she was somewhat of a rude type of teacher. I knew me and her might go at it a couple of times throughout the school year, After a few months, I began to realized she was like any other mother. You and her can fuss at it for days and then always go to her for advice and just to talk and laugh about anything. For me, she represents all the retired veterans who take time after serving the country to teach young respectable students about the military and other aspects such as courtesies, drills, and commands.
